MANX STAGING is a well established staging and rigging company based on the Isle of Man and was the brain child of Charlie Dillon. Charlie's expert knowledge in his field, comes from many years working in the UK and Europe for some of the worlds largest staging and lighting companies, and touring with some of the worlds most famous bands and solo artists. In the last 9 years charlie has serviced 33 film productions on the Island and in the UK.

First established on the island in 1999 trading under the name Charlie Dillon Scaffolding And Rigging, Charlie later changed his company name to MANX STAGING to better reflect the fact that the core business was predominantly conducted on the Island. The extensive range of hire equipment is owned and stored locally, enabling a quick and efficient service to be offered, be it a film production, a small conference or a rock concert. We are the proud owners of all of our own equipment, including Steel-deck staging, various lighting beams, lifting gear and a comprehensive stock of alloy tube and fittings available for hire. Specialist fabrications and bespoke structures are also available to suit virtually any requirement.

To complement our Staging and Rigging services, Manx Staging have a very good working relationship with Island based sound and lighting companies. We have in the past, Promoted our own music and entertainment events. Our crews are experts in all production related areas of the entertainment industry, having spent many years specialising in the varied disciplines required to reliably engineer and promote a successful event.

Unfortunately Manx Staging is in the process of winding up it's operations on the Isle of Man. This is largely due to a downturn in the market and consistent lack of support from the government and local event co-ordinators.
